Welcome

..................................................................................

Welcome to my portfolio of press photographs. Please look at my galleries on the right.

I work as a freelance television journalist specialising in reporting on the Middle East for foreign global news channels. I regularly appear on live TV to discus, or explain, breaking political stories often with great care to be objective on contentious subjects, particularly the Israeli v Palestinian conflict. I'm very presentable, confident and eloquent. See my 36 second TV showreel on Youtube here.

I'm the London photographer for an Olympic news agency called Around The Rings and take all their photos in London with an Olympic theme. I was busy before, and during, the 2012 Olympics which took place close to my home. My documentary photos are sold on Alamy, the worlds biggest stock library.

I learnt about politics by debating with Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the Labour Party, while we were both elected to Haringey Council in north London. I was an elected Conservative Councillor and he was a Labour member. This is gave me the confidence, knowledge and contacts to report on politics and local issues. My skills as a news photographer have been honed on the stories, streets and people of London.

My credentials as a journalist come from a nine month diploma in Journalism and from working as a radio journalist for the BBC and LBC in the capital. I can write articles to go with my photos and have done many travel features for the Press Association.

Living in north London brings me close to many top stories like crime, traffic, education, social services, politics and transport.

My photographic mission is -

“ I'd like to go deeper, get closer, know more, be more intense and more intimate. My pictures of me being hit in the street by an unstable, strange woman dressed in blue reflects this."
